Alcazar

Alcazar is a high yielding courgette variety that has quickly become one of the standard varieties used in the UK. It produces shiny, dark green, attractive fruit with a uniform cylindrical shape. Alcazar delivers an upright, compact plant of medium vigour with short internodes, all traits that help improve harvest efficiency. It is a very high yielding variety with an attractive presentation of the fruits, a small blossom scar, good homogenous cylindrical shape and uniform shiny dark green colour. Alcazar has an extremely uniform production cycle, without major deviations in production caused by environmental conditions as is the case with some varieties. It is an extremely easy variety to harvest by twisting the fruit and produces a consistently high yield over a long season.
