Rapier

Rapier is a recently introduced carrot variety to the UK & Ireland market. Rapier produces high quality roots that are strong against cracking with a firm skin, good taste and excellent internal and external colour, all attributes which make it ideal for use in the fresh market. Rapier offers tolerance to bolt and produces strong, healthy, upright and dark green foliage which greatly aids with crop husbandry. Rapier is strong against Alternaria and Cavity Spot. It also demonstrates good tolerance to heat.
