Coronation

Coronation is a long storage late maturing white cabbage variety. It is suitable for higher density production of 1kg heads as well as growing to larger 4kg heads. With a maturity of up to 140 days for long storage purposes, it has a consistent round head shape and good white internal colour. Harvest can be be planned from September to November with storage through to the end of May. Coronation has a vigorous root system which helps to ensure good tolerance to varying soil conditions. This highly uniform variety has proven to be very suitable to mechanical harvesting and offers resilience to Xanthomonas and Thrips.
