Verano

Verano is a strong growing kohlrabi variety. Producing an erect plant habit and dark green, broad leaves, Verano will reach a height of approximately 50cm with a very stable plant that is resistant to lodging. The petioles are flexible and not fibrous, making them easy to clean from the bulb. The bulb has a flat globe shape with a pale green skin and white, firm and crunchy internal texture. Verano offers excellent field holding properties, maintains its colour well and is strong against cracking. Verano has a good root system aiding all-round performance.
